As a landscape photographer from Cork, I crave stunning scenery and cozy, welcoming spots for my family vacations. Wheal Rodney Holiday Park ticked both boxes splendidly. Nestled in the beautiful Cornish countryside, the park feels like a hidden gem, and it's an easy stroll to Marazion, making it perfect for exploring with my teenage daughter. We stayed in one of the ten self-catering lodges, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well-equipped it was. Every essential was thoughtfully provided; from washing-up supplies to a delightful welcome pack with tea and biscuits. After long days of exploring the rugged coastline, it was a treat to come back to such a comfy space. One of our highlights was the lovely warm swimming pool, which became our glorious retreat after a day out. The staff, particularly Amanda, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Their friendly demeanor added a personal touch to our stay. If you're looking for a family-friendly spot, close to stunning landscapes and the beach, I highly recommend Wheal Rodney. It's definitely on the list for our next trip to Cornwall!
